Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden is the third out of five siblings born to La Jolla on 14 August 1959. The mother of her child, Beverly (Bushfield) is a homemaker, and her father, Thad Harold Harden an active soldier. Family members moved often. While they were in Greece She became interested with theater and went to Athens performances. Harden studied at American Universities across Europe, then returned to the US in 1983, to complete her education at the University of Texas. She earned an MFA from NYU and began her career as an actor. Harden had already appeared in one movie in 1986 in The Imagemaker, but her debut role in a major film was Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers hilarious, offbeat homage to gangster movies. Harden's stunning portrayal of Verna who was a mysterious, seductive moll, received positive critiques. Harden was subsequently busy as a supporting character, such as her portrayal as Ava Gardner in Sinatra (1992) A biopic that aired on TV on Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
